Shin Kwang Song was an assistant and associate professor in the Department of Materials Science at Arizona State University, and currently works as a professor in materials science and engineering at Seoul National University.
Professor Shin's research focuses on the development, processing and characterization of advanced structural materials, including magnesium, aluminum and copper alloys. He is particularly interested in the development of advanced high-performance magnesium alloys with high strength, ductility, formability and corrosion resistance.
